There is an unmistakeable sweetness about brand new, just arrived newborn miracles and I adore photographing it. These little newborn babes stay small for a short time - do them the honor of documenting their first days and creating a visual legacy they can be proud of. If you prefer a lifestyle perspective to welcome your newborn, our Lifestyle Newborn Session may be just what you're looking for! More information regarding the difference between Lifestyle Newborn and Posed Newborn sessions here.

Posed newborn photos are undeniably precious. Your wee-little, sweet, serene and sleepy offers the perfect miracle to design personalized artwork to grace the walls of your home. Posed sessions document your new arrival, their sweet little naked bums in all their newborn glory. Posed sessions take place in my studio with an intense lighting and prop setup and capture mostly baby as well as beautiful posed photos with parents and siblings.

Pros of posed newborn photo sessions vs. lifestyle sessions

If you're seeking studio newborn photos, the best part: you come to me! You have the perfect excuse to get out of the house for a bit and best of all...No need to spend hours cleaning your home prior to my arrival - we all know what the house looks like with a newborn at home! Save your precious energy for time with your family! Many moms desire the session to focus less on parents, much more on baby. While posed sessions offer parent and sibling images, most of the session will center around achieving solo newborn images. Sit back and relax, take a nap of your own if you like!

Cons of posed newborn photo sessions vs. lifestyle sessions

Newborn babies don't stay small long and these newborn photo sessions are often booked prior to delivery, completed within the first 14 days of life. Babies are born, by design, with a lovely flexibility which aids in achieving poses. These sessions require a bit more time as baby must be sleeping in order to pose, often up to two hours.
