Denver Newborn Session | Welcome Baby B

Round two with this crew was just so gooooood. I met this fam as they welcomed who you see featured here as big sister. I’ve included some of their initial session (that I adore OMG) at the end of the blog post - it’s THE best thing about being a Denver newborn photographer - witnessing the wild growth and the inevitable cuteness that unfolds as their personalities show themselves more fully. Welcome to the world, baby Bennett! You are so loved!!

OBSESSED with this crew. I HAD to share part of their initial newborn session with their first born baby girl Hadley. This session still lives on as one of my favs of all time! :)

What a little cherub baby doll, ball of perfection newborn goodness. Meet Hadley. She’s precious beyond words and oh so adorable. You’re about to find out why…..this baby doll has incredibly photogenic genes on both sides of the family tree.

I love this image so much. So much love and appreciation for the newborn life in their arms….Their very own miracle….AND a photobombing pup sniffing some of the new goods in the nursery! :) Have I mentioned how much I adore Denver Newborn Photo Sessions that have dogs in them?!?! :)

I’ve mentioned the whole newborn session with dogs thing, right?? Haha. This was not setup, no treats were used. Sheer puppy interested in their baby action going on here. My heart exploded!

I mean…..are you even kidding me??!?! Again, these shots aren’t staged. There may be a bit of coaxing or snuggles involved but totally doggie directed Denver newborn session here in full effect. :) Cheers to this crew, sending all the love to newborn baby Hadley and her sweet fur siblings! Shoutout to all the Dads

This is a spot where Motherhood is celebrated deeply, in fact, I refer to myself as a Denver/Boulder Motherhood photographer. But the dads are a big part of the family dynamic, too! They deserve to be fully celebrated! :) Shout out to all the boy dads and girl dads out there! I celebrate and honor the gift you offer your families, just by being you!

The joy in the connection of a Dad with his littles. There is a special love and bond in this connection and I adore photographing it in Denver and Boulder family sessions. I see it as the most personal, intimate art you can hang in your home, use as your lock screen on your phone or share with loved ones that live miles away.

Sending all the love to the amazing dads out there! We need you! We love you. I celebrate you and the gift you are to your partners, your kids.

Denver FIrst Birthday Photos - Warren { One }

From the variety of sweet expressions captured on this sweet boy’s face to the bold colors of the wardrobe selections in this space - gah. I adore this fam.

This is a whole song and hopping sort of dance going on here in this next photo. Clapping, singing and some real, authentic smiles. Dream come true as a Denver first birthday photographer!

Did I mention this boy has personality?! :) Second round celebrating the love this crew shares for one another and want to call out how FUN these moms were. I have never seen such an expression of enthusiasm, JOY, playfulness, active, engaging goodness. Everybody should have a set of moms like this. Warren is a lucky one year old boy and I am so so thankful to be invited to celebrate and play and witness and document their love.

I hope this black and white gem gets pulled out and shown to love interests in Warren’s teenage years and beyond. He’s just so sweet and expressive and the toddler energy in this first birthday studio session just makes my heart skip a beat. :)

Scratch that actually. I hope it’s this one. He just has this handsome GQ goodness - that one year old hair, those cute little lips, his sweet sweet sweet dark blue eyes, those cute tiny litte one year old fingers. What a precious little angel!

When Courtney reached out to schedule her maternity session, I was soooo thrilled at the ideas and concepts she brought to our chat! I met her handsome brother and his gorgeous family first welcoming their sweet little nugget earlier this year. I adore celebrating these branches of family and new life and feel so grateful to be invited in to these moments to document these amazing moments!!

These two….OMG I adored celebrating these two as they enter parenthood! We had a wild windy, amazing night and I freaked out adored this session as I edited it! Boulder Maternity Photographer heart burst with joy during this entire process. Some people are just meant to be clients and these two nailed it 100.

One Year Studio First Birthday session

Omg how cute is this gorgeous blue-eyed crew? The cuteness overload factor is strong here! Obsessed with the palette mom chose for their wardrobe intersecting the lovely neutral studio space. So thankful to be invited in to celebrate your sweet little ones as they grow and change.

The connection between siblings here just melted me to bits! This might be one of my fav family studio photos this year - the cuteness of the cuddle between brother and sister is just the sweetest thing ever!

I had to include this image bc we all chuckled as he toppled over. Tell me that little diaper booty isn’t the cutest little booty ever!

Denver Newborn Lifestyle Session: Welcome rory

Welcoming brand new family members is totally my jam and I was so honored to be invited in to celebrate with this stunning brand new family of five as they welcome their third baby boy!

Their oldest boy was so adamant about getting a photo with his new bestie little brother, just the two of them. As a Denver Newborn Lifestyle photographer, clearly I was totally here for it!

Boulder Maternity Photos | T fam

Talk about a stunning sunset maternity session in front of the flatirons!!! These three live just down the street from me! I loved celebrating them as their family grows!!

We had such a stunning weather day after a reschedule due to snow! Don’t get me wrong, I love a snowy, mountainside maternity session (I drove around in it that morning wishing I had someone that wanted to shoot that day!!!) but the little guy likely wouldn’t have done well and the little spots of snow that remain made this spring green session so fun and so epically Colorado maternity session!! We were trying to get the soon to be big brother to touch or kiss mama’s bump aka the baby but he wasn’t overly interested. #toddlers lol

Dad was behind the camera for this shot making his little man giggle and smile. I love dads that know how to make their little one’s giggle. It’s first class dad status in my denver maternity photographer eyes. :)

Denver Sitting Milestone Baby Photos | Bonnie Brae Baby Photos

My third session with this lovely crew and I couldn’t be more excited to share our first session from their stunning home in Bonnie Brae. Not to mention how cute this little nugget is getting. Teeth, hair, cute smiles, these sitting milestone baby photo sessions make my Denver Baby Photographer heart totally swoon!

So hear me out….I find six to seven month baby photo sessions to be a better timeframe to photograph babies than newborns. I know those tiny little snuggles and celebration of the fact that they’ll never again be that small is wild special and I so honor its significance…AND find that babies that are sitting confidently are THE cutest stage ever!! They smile at anything and everything, they’re not fully mobile and mom and dad have had a chance to settle into their new lives as a family. Let’s be honest those first few weeks (and months!!) after a baby arrives are a whole thing! Mom feels more like herself, both parents feel more confident about being a family and OMG did i mention the cute smiles?!

If you know me, you definitely know that if there is a dog present for the session, it WILL be featured in its own photos! :)
